I feel listened to by senior management. Leadership is highly technical and experienced in the industry which makes the role much more exciting for me. The culture is high trust, I feel I have ownership.
High trust and high autonomy culture means anyone who enjoys working hand in hand with others or are new to the role may not enjoy it.

Lots of really smart people, working on cool technology. The company is growing quickly. Customers seems really love the product. I honestly cannot imagine working on cloud infrastructure _not_ using Pulumi, so being part of building the platform is awesome.
Not the most fun place I've ever worked. Everybody seems over-subscribed and working hard to keep things afloat. There are a lot of complicated systems and components to ramp up on and maintain. This has translated to some unfortunate turnover. The product direction / business priorities can feel a bit capricious at times.
Too many awesome folks have left Pulumi because of cultural issues. It's hard to see how the company can keep growing until this gets fixed.
I've seen lots of good improvements over time, and certainly management is more responsive now than it has been in the past. But it still feels demoralizing to see your friends get burnt out and quit. Or be cheerful during an interview, when everyone else seems exhausted.
