Remote Job Description
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our advertising clients or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients or partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As the Senior Strategic Security Consultant, you will help clients assess, design, and build security programs. You will span operational, tactical, and strategic levels to address problems that businesses are facing when building and improving their security posture.You may travel up to 30% of the time as needed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000-$192,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead execution of consulting engagements and development of deliverables from start to finish. Work with other team members to produce prioritized results aligned to client needs and risk profile.
- Provide guidance on building or transforming cyber security programs and the implementation of technologies used for enterprise security. Provide advice on best practices for managing the cyber security risks during digital transformation as organizations.
- Provide guidance on building or transforming cyber defense programs and capabilities, including incident and crisis management, threat hunting, threat intelligence, and detection engineering.
- Conduct security reviews and maturity assessments across technology and Business teams to address cyber risk. Provide clear and organized risk findings and recommendations to clients.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in designing and operating security program functions, including cyber defense operations, incident response, architecture, identity and access management, vulnerability management, or security risk management.
- 3 years of experience with security frameworks (e.g., ISO27001 and NIST 800-53).
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH).
- 2 years of experience with cloud computing concepts and security control in cloud-based technologies.
- Knowledge of technologies used in penetration testing, security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, network and endpoint architecture, or other Security Operations (SecOps) areas.
- Knowledge of infrastructure, operating system and application vulnerabilities, security architecture, and controls.
- Knowledge of cyber threat landscape.
- Ability to communicate with clients in a concise manner while managing expectations at both executive and technical levels.
