Remote Job Description

We are looking for a curious, driven and collaborative Product Designer to join the Partner Ecosystem team. This role will work closely with a stunning team of designers, product managers, engineers, and external partners (like Amazon, T-Mobile, Google, Sony, and more) to help millions of members around the world discover and enjoy Netflix. You’ll work on rich and complex problems like how we innovate on our Smart TV and Voice UI integrations, how we bundle Netflix with our partners, how we bring an innovative approach to technical partner challenges, and much more.

How You’ll Have Impact

  • Drive collaboration with other partner design teams, product managers, engineers, and business development to design and build partnership experiences.
  • Work on a range of projects on different platforms (10-foot devices, mobile, web, and more). Partner closely with our external partners and research teams to understand the expectations, needs, and attitudes of users around the world.
  • Craft elegant and intuitive experiences that scale across our global partnerships while contributing to our design system and UX guidelines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven expertise in the user-centered design process, particularly product and interaction design skills, across web, mobile, and/or TV
  • Ability to use systems thinking in technical spaces to break down complexity into solvable problems.
  • Experience designing for scale by using design systems & components in your design process.
  • Ability to go deep and think about the ins and outs and edge cases, and to go wide to connect the dots between Netflix and our partners.
  • Be the voice for customer-centric design while balancing both Netflix and partner business goals.
  • Experience leading design strategy and execution from 0 to 1 with minimal oversight and well-organized operational rigor.
  • Communication skills to drive alignment with your cross-functional stakeholders and external partners, influence decision-making, and articulate the rationale behind your concepts.
  • Ability to flex and context switch between complex and technical problem spaces.
  • An understanding of the A/B testing process and comfort using data to inform design decisions.
  • An earnest, mature, and ego-free attitude that welcomes candid feedback.

Location of role: Open to remote in North America with some travel to Los Gatos and/or Los Angeles, CA.
