Remote Job Description
As an Insider Risk Manager, you will manage a team of insider risk consultants and provide day-to-day insider risk subject matter expert services for federal and commercial clients. Primary services include insider risk program assessments, program builds, tool deployments, investigations, and other related services. You will be responsible for understanding the insider risk tool landscape, available solutions, how they function, and how to best integrate with other security toolsets.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing technical insider risk solutions for client engagements. You will also be responsible for developing new and innovative technical solutions for clients and expanding the insider risk service lines through integration with other Google technologies and third-party vendors.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$243,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage a team of consultants and provide guidance on assessing, building and maturing insider risk programs, detecting and responding to security incidents, and implementing tools and technologies.
- Serve as the insider risk subject matter expert.
- Deliver analysis of insider risk problem sets to include discovery and review of existing toolsets, including DLP, UBA, SIEM, EDR, and Mandiant and Google proprietary tools.
- Enhance insider risk service offerings. Build new service lines and enhance existing solutions. Leverage new and emerging technologies to build innovative insider risk offerings.
- Increase business pipelines through prospect briefings and other business development activities. Work with insider risk leadership and sales and marketing managers to increase awareness and market insider risk services.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience building information security programs to include implementation and assessment of security controls.
- 5 years of experience using and implementing insider threat tools such as SIEM, DLP, and UBA.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building roadmaps, driving requirements, and executing engagements for enterprise clients.
- Experience designing and implementing insider risk solutions using Information Rights Management (IRM).
- Experience designing and delivering tabletop exercises, building insider use cases, aligning technical toolsets, designing and delivering training programs.
- Experience in collecting, analyzing, and escalating security events, and responding to insider incidents.
- Knowledge of insider threat tools and technologies used for enterprise risk management.
- Understanding of cyber security operations, event monitoring, backup tooling, and SIEM tools.
