Your responsibilities include driving the strategy, development, enhancement, and execution of regional, localized lifecycle marketing programs and campaigns across email, push, onsite, and in-app notifications, focused on driving activation, engagement, retention & reactivation of our Guests & Hosts at the regional level. You will be responsible for end-to-end execution, from crafting strategy, to capturing business requirements, to planning, delivery, and evaluation of performance against KPIs. You will be a thought partner and trusted stakeholder to functional leads and business partners across Product, Data Science, regional Business Ops, Host Community / Marketing, Brand, and Creative teams to set and exceed aggressive growth targets. The ideal candidate will have a combination of email / lifecycle marketing experience, product management, and project management skills.

About the Team
The Engagement Growth Marketing team at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, engineering and data science. Our work is imperative to driving the top line of the entire company. As the Senior Growth Marketing Manager leading Regional Engagement, you will play a critical role in managing Airbnb’s relationship with our Guests and Hosts.

What You Will Do
  • Build the data-driven vision and strategy of regional engagement marketing initiatives to accelerate the growth of our Guest & Host business, accountable for performance against KPIs
  • Responsible for developing, planning, and executing on strategies to drive regional Guest & Host engagement and improve activation, engagement & retention
  • Own & manage cross-channel data-driven automated triggered lifecycle and ad hoc email campaigns end-to-end
  • Develop playbooks & drive orchestration between regional and global campaigns & different types of localized regional campaigns
  • Drive ongoing localization of automated lifecycle campaigns, as data warrants
  • Conduct regular, extensive experimentation and in-depth user data analyses to facilitate rapid learning & application of any insights
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in user experiences and related systems / tooling to deliver solutions & continuously improve execution
  • Own project management and cross-functional campaign development workflow with partner & stakeholder teams (e.g. Product, Engineering, Data Science, Creative, Brand, Community, Production)
  • Translate business goals into accurate delivery requirements, including but not limited to: specifying required data, segmentation & targeting logic, and dynamic content requirements
  • Own comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly reporting of all relevant CRM KPIs & build the right dashboards to track and socialize performance
  • Articulate and present strategy, progress, results and data analyses / learnings effectively to stakeholders and the wider business
  • Conduct industry benchmarks and competitive research to influence decision-making and planning
What We’re Looking For
  • 9+ years of CRM experience in a consumer-facing, fast-paced ecommerce company. Product management experience is a big plus.
  • Solid track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale, complex, high volume B2C email campaigns and cross-functional projects. Experience with top-tier ESP a plus.
  • An empathetic leader who leads with positivity, and cares for, inspires & motivates others. Models Airbnb’s core values.
  • Experienced in partnering with Design & Product to deliver best-in-class campaigns that inspire users & contribute to building an iconic and lasting brand
  • Experience working directly with Martech teams to drive technical solutions. Familiar with at least one enterprise-level / top-tier ESP.
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; SQL skills a plus.
  • Experienced in partnering with Design & Product to deliver best-in-class campaigns that inspire users & contribute to building an iconic and lasting brand
  • Strong presentation & storytelling skills
  • Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Undergraduate degree required
The starting base pay for this role is between $150,000 and $190,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
