Remote Job Description

This position has been created to catapult our Airbnb Recruiting Team to the next level. We are a design and human lead company and want our Recruiting team to represent that in everything that we do. 

  • Lead a team of three Managers and an indirect team of ~30. Mentor, motivate and drive excellence amongst the team vertices.
  • Oversee and drive strategy and implementation for:  
    • Analytics - Tableau Dashboards, QBRs, forming insights based on data, supply and demand for the recruiting team 
    • Operations / Project Management - Simplify and optimise the operations around offer approvals, contracts,  core value programmes, referrals, diversity, knowledge management etc.
    • Hiring Planning - Drive a global project through a small project team to further enhance the way we plan and manage roles at Airbnb
    • Coordination - Manage capacity of the coordination team, drive for efficiency and ensure they have the tools needed to meet the interviewing needs of the business
    • Systems - Continuously update, review and assess the systems we use making sure that they still effectively serve our needs

A Typical Day:

  • Create, with the team, and upkeep Tableau dashboards that track our time to hire, time to fill, days in role, offer accepts etc.
  • Run our supply and demand model in partnership with the head of recruiting, ensuring that the recruiting team always has the capacity to meet the organisational needs 
  • Generate insight-based ideas and solutions that will drive efficiency and excellence across the recruiting organisation
  • Partner with the recruiting leadership team to inform, diagnose and improve how we recruit
  • Proactively seek out ways to simplify processes and look for opportunities to leverage technology to scale
  • Manage capacity of the team to meet business objectives
  • In partnership with the recruiting leadership team, drive and manage goal setting, operational planning processes and regular business reviews, develop and implement key performance indicators, policies and procedures to achieve organisational goals
  • Ensure compliance across all of our operations

How We’ll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $190,000 and $235,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. 

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Airbnb,Inc. can employ in  states where we have registered entities. Currently, employees can not be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware and Rhode Island.
