In this role, you will work in partnership with the business team to advocate for Google location and mapping solutions to our customers. You will engage with executive industry leaders and partner with them to devise a location intelligence strategy for their company. You will help prospective customers and partners to understand the Google Maps APIs and related offerings, explaining technical features, and problem-solving technical issues. You will liaise with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Google Maps Platform products. You will work closely with our customers in the local delivery, Augments Reality (AR) gaming, and urban mobility space.

Salary Range Info:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$213,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Be responsible for technical aspects of solutions to include such as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
- Facilitate RFI/RFP responses. Help business to perform pricing and goals estimations and construct agreements.
- Work with GMP’s API products to demonstrate and prototype integrations. Design and implement solutions using products including Google Maps API, Google Maps Mobile SDKs, and Google other mapping solutions.
- Maintain on-going technical relationships with strategic customers, conducting technical reviews, filing bugs and feature requests, monitoring and ensuring proper usage reporting.
- Identify, scope and execute relevant customer trials and/or proof of concepts through requirements discovery, success criteria determination and prototype integrations and best practice guidance. Identify and qualify business opportunities,identify key customer technical objections and develop strategies to resolve technical impediments.
This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in technical sales engineering or customer-facing roles (e.g., professional services, sales engineering, or solutions architecture).
- Experience in web, mobile or cloud application development (i.e., Java, JavaScript, HTML5, etc).
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in a program/project management role in consulting, software development, systems integration, or systems engineering.
- Experience in cloud platform development.
- Experience mapping application development and integration using Google Maps platform or other Location/Maps platforms on web or mobile platforms (i.e., Android / iOS).
- Experience in Internet of Things, smart cities, urban mobility, transport and logistics, AR/Virtual Reality, or machine learning.
- Understanding of solution architecture within web and mobile environments.
- Ability in writing and presenting at industry events to present Google product offerings paired with excellent written and presentation skills.
