Remote Job Description
In this role, you will utilize leadership expertise, business acumen, investigative insights, and creativity to support multi-level and regional Cloud BI organizations and their respective teams. You'll be a trusted advisor to the regions, consistently and globally reporting on data to enable accurate assessments of business performance. You will design and own a high-quality, integrated reporting platform, and through project management and oversight, ensure that an ongoing, comprehensive strategy is developed to develop, migrate and merge existing reporting into a framework. You'll work with business and technical stakeholders to innovate and iterate on this platform, while navigating complex and changing circumstances. You will build data exploration tools that drive business decisions for Cloud BI sales teams.
You will work with stakeholders to identify their needs, build data models and key reports in Looker, and empower stakeholders to get the data they need in a consistent manner. You’ll utilize clear written communication, including technical documentation, and engaging verbal communication to train and enable others. You will also bring a detail-oriented approach to spot possible data discrepancies and troubleshoot user errors.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$239,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Ensure global consistency in reporting of Google Cloud success metrics, adopting and sharing aligned definitions globally via a hub/spoke metrics model.
- Be a trusted business advisor to the regional field teams Engineering, Product, Design, Cloud Business Intelligence, and Google Cloud Sales and Strategy and Operations teams.
- Work cross-functionally to develop Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), LookML models, reporting and dashboards, migrating and developing new use cases.
- Contribute to best practices/code reviews related to data projects and initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers with regards to Business Intelligence (BI) and data strategy and deployments.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in analytics, operations, management consulting, or a similar industry/function.
- Experience with cloud technologies, market dynamics, operational/go-to-market strategies, SaaS and consumption business metrics, and sales methods.
- Experience with SQL, LookML, and Bigquery.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience scaling BI/Looker deployments to active users.
- Knowledge of Looker as a data governance tool, especially Access Control List (ACL) layer.
- Knowledge of vector data structures (e.g., accounts, opportunities).
- Ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance.
