Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience conducting technical analysis of malware artifacts.
Preferred qualifications:
- 1 year of experience with remote work.
- Experience with Python, Go, C/C++ and/or Java.
- Experience with static and dynamic analysis tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, HIEW, OllyDbg, x64dbg).
- Knowledge of Portable Executable-Common Object File Format (PE-COFF) and Executable and Linkable Format (ELF).
- Ability to write YARA signatures and triage false/true positives.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $112,000-$162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Perform binary analysis on the JIRA malware queues.
- Model relationships between samples and artifacts (e.g., C2 addresses, IOCs).
- Research and work on binary analysis.
- Write technical malware reports to support intrusion investigations by Mandiant consulting, alert triage by managed defense, intelligence reports by Mandiant threat intelligence, and more.
