Remote Job Description
Netflix is looking for an Associate Live Service Product Manager to join Netflix Game Studios to help deliver the next generation of video games to a worldwide audience. This role is a part of our Central Live Service team, which is focused on defining our long term growth for Netflix Games and helping to shape the strategies, best known methods, and opportunities that will get us there. In this role, you will be responsible for providing product analysis to game teams, establishing competitive benchmarks and measuring the value of games content in the broader context of the Netflix service.
The ideal candidate will be highly effective at collaborating across a multitude of teams and is effective at conveying our strategic priorities and business plans for games across Netflix. You will deliver a deep understanding of the competitive market, develop and fine tune unique metrics to evaluate game and portfolio performance on a global subscription service, and build models to help forecast the potential for our games. The role will work cross-functionally with organizations across Netflix including: Game Studio Product Management, Games Strategy and Analysis, Data Science & Engineering, Platform Product, Central Tech and Game Developers.

We are in a unique position to learn, influence, and evolve based on how Netflix members choose to play games while helping inform our developers as they bring their games to life.
Responsibilities
- Deeply understand the live service driven game category on various platforms, delivering strong competitive analysis of game designs and live service programs that generate excellent, long term player engagement.
- Studying and delivering compelling insights drawn from games across the Netflix portfolio and across the industry for both individual games and competing subscription services.
- Drive the development of metric and analytical structure for the Netflix Game Service to measure the value of game content and engagement.
- Partner with the Internal Studios and deliver strategic insights and analysis to guide product positioning.
- Collaborate with Game Teams on benchmarking and forecasting for our future slate of upcoming games.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in product management in gaming
- High level of competency with forecasting and financial modeling
- Experience doing deep-dive analysis and teardowns of games
- Ability to make confident well-reasoned decisions with the flexibility to adjust quickly based on a combination of knowing the Live Service business in and out and your intuition
- Passion for gaming (eg - you’re excited by playing multiple games per week)
Bonus
- Strong experience in quantitative analysis, including the ability to model game parameters using Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau
- High level of familiarity with publishers and games developed from APAC
- Exceptional experience in game design for retention optimization. Deep understanding of economy and monetization design
- MBA a plus
