Remote Job Description
In this role, red team members are responsible for simulating a wide variety of cyberattacks to help identify and fix weaknesses in an organization’s cybersecurity program. This is a critical role in the cybersecurity industry as there are relatively few ways to truly evaluate the efficacy of defensive technologies, configurations, processes, and staff.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $83,000-$120,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Perform technical cybersecurity engagements of a varied nature.
- Interface with clients to address concerns, issues, or escalations, track and drive to closure any issues that impact the engagements and its value.
- Advise clients on security best practices for remediating discovered issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to expand capabilities to deliver value.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience in cybersecurity.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certifications in OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSAS, CCT INF or SANS courses.
- Experience in network protocols, threat intelligence analysis, systems and network administration, project management, active directory architecture, application development, incident response, source code review, reverse engineering.
- Understanding of network security, web application assessments, social engineering, scripting, tool development, cloud security, reverse engineering, source code review.
- Understanding of operating systems security across Windows, Linux and/or Mac and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, C/C++, Rust, Nim).
- Understanding of tools in penetration testing, security event analysis, incident response, computer forensics, network and endpoint architecture.
