Twilio’s Elastic SIP Trunking team is growing rapidly and seeking a Software Engineer to be a key contributor in making Twilio the most loved SIP Trunking provider. The person in this role will collaborate with other team members to build trunking features while operating & scaling systems and mentoring junior members of the team.
Twilio is looking for a Software Engineer who has a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects. They also have:
- 4+ years hands-on experience in cloud application development using Java/C++ or .NET technologies.
- Extensive experience scaling production backend systems. You can design and develop horizontally-scalable, resilient and performing-under-load systems.
- Hands on experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, OpenStack or Azure.
- Capable of operating from conception through continuous operation of 24x7 services.
- Ideally, you have experience in a production DevOps environment.
- Experience working with VOIP Protocols is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

The Elastic SIP Trunking team at Twilio is responsible for providing customers with highly available, infinitely scalable and globally streamlined connectivity to PSTN via cloud to power their VOIP infrastructure.
