Remote Job Description

As Senior Recruiter, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the talent acquisition function at Scott's Cheap Flights. This includes sourcing, recruitment, recruiting-related compliance, DEI, budgeting, and employee experience. You will work across all departments to help scale their teams and ensure we are hiring the best and brightest to Scott's Cheap Flights using the best strategies and processes in order to continue developing our culture. Over the next 12 months, we will be doubling the size of the team, hiring anywhere from 25 to 40 new team members in order to continue delivering the best possible experience for our members and team.

In the short term, you will:

  • Learn and understand the Scott's Cheap Flights product offering and how each team supports our mission, culture, and organization as a whole
  • Establish yourself as a trusted resource to all hiring managers
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment while prioritizing an excellent candidate experience
  • Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to develop job descriptions, forecast future hiring plans, and define candidate profiles to fit our business needs
  • Define hiring guides and interview packets in order to standardize and optimize Scott's Cheap Flights interview processes
  • Establish hiring reports and metrics to share with the team on a regular basis

In the long term, you will:

  • Examine and improve upon our existing hiring processes by identifying areas of opportunity, bottlenecks, and strengths we need to be capitalizing on
  • Define hiring guides and interview packets in order to standardize and optimize Scott's Cheap Flights interview processes
  • Fully own the hiring process for all open positions
  • Overhaul employer brand with a long-term, strategic plan focused on attracting diverse and best-in-class talent

What you bring to the table:

  • Corporate and Technical Recruiting Experience: You have at least three years of experience owning full-cycle recruitment, ideally in a B2C environment.
  • Agile Resilience: You thrive under pressure and enjoy the ability to work on numerous, unique positions simultaneously
  • Process Motivated: You aren't afraid to try new things and are obsessed with validation, but you know when a process will work for the majority and stick to it, knowing you may need to iterate in the future.

Must have's:

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience leading full-cycle technical recruitment
  • Ability to jump between high level strategy and tactical execution
  • High attention to detail, particularly when it comes to editing job descriptions, messaging candidates, and scheduling
  • Experience working with a fast-growth organization with competing priorities
  • Experience working remotely
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and plan to work full-time in the United States
Nice to have's:

  • Experience working with a B2C company
  • Experience working within the travel industry
  • Central or Mountain time zone to optimize overlap with Pacific and Eastern time.
