AWS is seeking a Principal Go-To-Market Specialist to drive major businesses within a multi-billion dollar Networking portfolio. As business owner for your products, you will be responsible for developing and executing all go-to-market activities that drive business performance and customer satisfaction. You will lead a cross-functional team of business leaders across business development, product marketing, partner and sales teams to drive the success of your products in the market. Utilizing insights and data to influence product strategy and investment, you'll help scale products from the ground-up, organize product launches, and create a repeatable go-to-market process. You will also serve as a key member of the product and engineering leadership team to influence the product direction and roadmap priorities. In this capacity, you will be the trusted advisor for large/strategic customers, ensuring AWS provides right solutions to meet their ever-changing needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Define business goals, market segments, ideal customer, solutions, positioning and key tactics for your products.
  • Execute the strategic business development plan by working cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders (e.g. sales, product, marketing, partner, etc.).
  • Define, build and deploy enterprise focused sales and business development campaigns around the AWS Networking offerings.
  • Fill the business development pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers
  • Understand the technical requirements of our customers and work closely with the internal development teams to guide the product direction.
  • Enable sales and partner teams to drive key sales plays for your products and solutions.
  • Engage in senior level customer meetings to discuss their business issues, and explore how the AWS platform can help address those issues.
  • Serve as an evangelist for the AWS Networking products both within AWS and externally.
  • Keep up with market trends and ensure that AWS networking products remain differentiated over time.
  • Measure and track metrics related to adoption of the AWS networking services.
  • Prepare business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and metrics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of product management or business development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in networking or network security fields

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or equivalent relevant business experience
  • Experience selling to Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000 organizations
  • Strong product, technical, and customer facing skills
  • Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insights in order to drive customer adoption and make appropriate recommendations to the business
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations is key
  • Solid negotiation skills, and business and financial acumen

This position must be located in the Bay Area or Seattle.
