Are you an experienced Program Manager looking to have global impact at Amazon? The Worldwide Solutions Architecture Operations team is looking for a Program Manager to drive operational efficiency and increase the effectiveness and consistency of our many field and customer-facing activities around the world.

Key areas of focus include strategic planning, business management functions such as managing headcount and budget, developing/collecting business insights and managing strategic projects across multiple stakeholders teams in Worldwide Solution Architecture.

A successful candidate will have the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and have a passion for inventing and simplifying. This position requires strong business judgment, problem solving and excellent communication skills. A track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must. Being self-driven, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities is a key to success.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with WWSA Operations Leaders to drive and facilitate operational processes. This includes ideation, feedback collection, document creation, and establishing and communicating best practices and standards.
  • Own and manage key operational business processes such as headcount and budget management, monthly goals and metric reporting, and regular Initiative/Program reviews.
  • Work with SA program and initiative owners to identify KPIs and effectiveness that impact measures for reporting program/initiative outcomes on an ongoing basis as well as contribute to strategic planning and resource management.
  • Maintain core document/information repositories and communications aliases for the Solutions Architecture function.
  • Identify opportunities for improvements in processes and operational efficiency and drive the implementation and adoption of these improvements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in program/project management in a high-tech environment


  • Capability to plan and set priorities, identify and resolve problems and produce measurable results
  • Ability to perform business analysis and the desire to improve business processes
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • MBA preferred
  • International experience and/or experience working in a multi-cultural environment
  • Experience using data visualization technologies to help drive business insights
  • Six sigma background and/or certification, process improvement focus
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
  • Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
