The Inside Sales Executive places outbound calls based on leads, and completes the sales of products and/or services. The Inside Sales Executive work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Inside Sales Executive – Specialty 2-99 is responsible for proactive telephonic outreach to brokers in an assigned territory. They are responsible for managing the broker relationship from prospecting, sales consulting on opportunities, and closing business with our broker partners. The products the Specialty Inside Sales Executive sells are group dental, vision and life in the 2-99 employee space. They are accountable for achieving new sales goals for their defined territory and work independently with their broker hierarchy. Understands department, segments, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding their own work methods, requires minimal direction and is motivated for proactive broker outreach. Follows established guidelines/procedures and reaching out for guidance when needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills required
- Active Health & Life licenses OR ability to achieve Health and Life licenses within 30 days
- Be able to work a regular M-F work schedule
- 5 years of telesales business to business experience
- Healthcare industry experience
