Remote Job Description

As chapter delivery director you are responsible for ensuring we have sufficient resources (project managers, scrum masters etc.) with necessary skills and support to meet our business objectives. You will be responsible for capability (methodology and training) and capacity (sufficient resources to meet needs). The role will require you to mentor and advise across the organization on best practices as it relates to how we deliver products and services.


  • Develop and deliver training program for the entire organization on methodologies, processes and procedures
  • Review and revise methodologies, processes and procedures to ensure they remain effective
  • Line management for chapter members (project managers and scrum masters)
  • Professional development of chapter members to grow their capabilities
  • Mentoring and coaching to the chapter members on their delivery activities
  • Hiring of new members to the chapter to meet needs
  • Communication of the activities within the chapter to the rest of the company
  • Working with the Tribes and Flow Office to understand chapter hiring needs and ongoing capacity management
  • Point of contact for all chapter members personnel issues
  • Management and reporting on suppliers involved in delivering work within the chapter
  • Setting out yearly objectives for the chapter and individual members

  • Motivate, develop and progress chapter members.
  • Communicate openly with all members of the chapter and address issues in a timely manner
  • Empowering your chapter to provide the best results by organizing clear processes and coordinating team efforts
  • Work with the Flow Office and Talent Acquisition team to attract the best talent to the business.
  • Work with the Tribe leaders to ensure chapter members remain focused on their duties and professional at all times.
  • Be the coach and mentor for all chapter members, providing guidance when needed

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to do their job effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology or another relevant field
  • Detailed understanding of industry trends relating to delivery methodologies
  • Extensive software project delivery experience
  • Resource Management experience
  • Budget management experience

  • Proven experience in the deployment and management of a companies delivery methodology
  • Proven experience in the delivery of software projects
  • Have been a Chapter Manager or Head of Project Governance type role
  • In-depth understanding of multiple delivery methodologies
  • Proven experience of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.
